COLLECTIVE FILMS was founded by Morgan Wheeler and Summer Rech, best friends of almost 20 years and the creative forces behind every project we produce. Over the past decade, they have built the company from the ground up, taking on every aspect of production themselves and mastering the art of delivering high-end, cinematic content with the efficiency and resourcefulness of a full-scale crew.
From directing and producing to shooting and editing, they have done it all—learning, adapting, and refining their craft with every project. Their passion for filmmaking, combined with an unstoppable work ethic, has shaped COLLECTIVE FILMS into what it is today: a production company that thrives on innovation, storytelling, and the pursuit of visually striking, emotionally impactful content.
But their vision doesn’t stop at filmmaking. While COLLECTIVE FILMS continues taking on high-caliber productions, expanding its team, and pushing creative boundaries, they’re also laying the foundation for even greater growth—A dedicated studio and office space in Nashville. This future headquarters will serve as the engine driving larger productions, bigger opportunities, and an even stronger presence in the industry. More than just a studio, it will be a launchpad—empowering COLLECTIVE FILMS to scale, create jobs, and take on projects at a whole new level. It will also operate as a prop and gear rental house, providing filmmakers with the tools they need to bring ambitious visions to life.
